Reviewed key national policy frameworks, including the National Water Policy (2012, 2020) and Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM), with a focus on identifying gender-related governance gaps.
Proposed institutional mechanisms such as the establishment of a Women’s Water Governance Steering Committee (WWGSC) at national, state, and district levels.
Recommended integration of gender-responsive budgeting approaches and robust data tracking systems to strengthen accountability.
