  • Documented transformative examples, including the Jal Saheli Initiative, SEWA’s water governance model, and participatory resilience planning in Ranchi Urban Lab.

3. Policy & Governance Analysis

  • Reviewed key national policy frameworks, including the National Water Policy (2012, 2020) and Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM), with a focus on identifying gender-related governance gaps.
  • Proposed institutional mechanisms such as the establishment of a Women’s Water Governance Steering Committee (WWGSC) at national, state, and district levels.
  • Recommended integration of gender-responsive budgeting approaches and robust data tracking systems to strengthen accountability.

4. Final Report Compilation & Submission

  • Structured research findings into a cohesive, logically organised, and professionally formatted report.
