About The Project
Celebrating its 75th year of significant influence in India, KfW is preparing to spotlight its longstanding commitment and impactful presence centered around its Indian office. This initiative involves producing a brief film aimed at both internal and external stakeholders, highlighting KfW’s crucial involvement and accomplishments in the Indo-German Development Cooperation.
The film is intended for an audience of high-ranking officials and dignitaries from India and Germany, illustrating KfW’s cooperative endeavors with the Government of India and various regional authorities. It emphasizes KfW’s role in advancing India’s sustainable development and is envisioned as a tribute that visually narrates over six decades of transformational contributions in sectors such as energy, urban development, mobility, and natural resources.
Urban Innovation Lab (UIL) was selected to create a 5–6 minute film encapsulating KfW’s journey across these sectors, showcasing key projects, milestones, and its enduring dedication to the development finance sector in India.
Under KfW’s directive, UIL is leading the film’s production across pre-production, on-ground filming, and post-production phases. The film incorporates curated project footage, archival photographs, and a key interview with a KfW Group Board member. UIL’s collaboration with KfW has been essential for project selection and logistical coordination. The final output adheres strictly to the branding and communication standards set by KfW’s Communications Department. Throughout the process, UIL has adopted a consultative approach, integrating KfW’s feedback at every stage.
